Orlandos Arcade Monsters to reopen with new expansion

The games include classic genres ranging from puzzles to racing to pinball.
Arcade Monsters’ include Cuban street fare like empanadas and pastelitos (small cakes), as well as alcoholic beverages for the more grown-up kids. Recent weeks have seen the arcade develop new delivery options, including a catering-sized “Cuban Care Package.”
Arcades have had a resurgence in recent years by appealing to nostalgic adults as well as families. The modern arcade often advertises using retro graphic design and logo design and can offer gourmet food and drink, aiming to combine the joys and frustrations of video games with a night on the town.
Arcade Monsters’ soft reopening will take place this Friday to Sunday, May 22 to 24, at the store’s Oviedo location. The arcade also has a smaller second location, called a “Pop Up Lounge” in Palm Bay.
