Orlando Christmas club crawl supports charitable cause
The 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl,a fun 21+ party to spread some holiday cheer while enjoying a few cocktails, takes place in a couple of weeks.
The organizers invite adults to don their favorite holiday garb and bring an one or more unwrapped toys worth at least $20 to their fundraising holiday event. All donations go to support the HOPE Foundation, a nonprofit that helps the homeless in Central Florida become self-sufficient. The organization offers counseling, housing, and education to get families and individuals back on their feet. Last year, over 400 families received aid from HOPE.
Guests will check-in at Hooch on Wall Street Plaza and receive a list of the participating venues. A ticket entitles each holder to four complimentary beverages (choice of Coors Light, Tito's Vodka cocktail, or Jager shots), additional discounted beverages, and a 25% discount at the Pita Pit. A part of the sale of Santa hats during the crawl will also go to HOPE. The hats are available for $5 each. Organizers want guests to wear their favorite holiday garb, so they may wish to head to local print shops to create custom T-shirts for the night.
Registration is free via Eventbrite, and tickets can be brought to the event. Toys can be dropped off at check-in or participants can pay a $20 admission fee at the start of the crawl. The check-in begins on December 7 at Hooch at 7:30 pm, the crawl starts at 8:00 pm and guaranteed admission ends at 9:30 pm. The crawl will continue until after midnight.
