New pass program introduced in Orlando
The Visitor Toll Pass at Orlando International Airport has been expanded to include additional locations for drop-off and pick-up at all three terminals.
An alternative to rental car toll programs, this is a free toll pass designed for customers with rental cars as they travel throughout the airport. Flyer printing can be used to inform customers of such recent programs and their benefits.
The Visitor Toll Pass app enables reservations to be made for the pass. Users need to provide their rental car and trip information. Once a reservation is in place, notifications can be set up so that customers can receive toll and trip activity notices and updates.
There are six locations at Terminals A, B, and C at the airport where visitors can pick up their pass. Once they do so, they need to decline the toll program of their rental car company. This can save customers as much as 80% compared to the toll programs of rental car companies. Once customers receive their pass, they add the license plate of their rental car in the app and hang it on the rearview mirror of the rental car. Once customers end their trip, they can return the pass to one of 14 drop boxes for their return located throughout the airport.
Visitor Toll Pass is the first system of its kind in the United States.
