The 2018 Florida Music and Film Festival and Conference is expected to include hundreds of filmmakers, visual artists and a variety of musical talent.
The Florida music festival is an opportunity for talented individuals to show their work to the masses that gather next month in Orlando. Fans of the event know they will have an extensive amount of entertainment to enjoy throughout the three-day festival. Some big-name artists, including Taylor Swift, have made their public debut at the festival.
In addition to many up-and-coming artists, the festival frequently includes popular musical talent that originated from the state. Downtown venues host the artists each night from 6:00 pm until 2:00 am and admission is free. Age restrictions still apply for those venues that normally serve only adult patrons. Each musical guest will perform during a 30-minute showcase of their work. A complete schedule of the dates, times, and locations for each musical guest is available on the festival website.
Over 50 musical artists are scheduled to play during the festival and the conference is open to film and music industry professionals as well as those that would like to have the opportunity to promote themselves or their project. Hopefuls are welcome to bring their Business Cards or other marketing materials to help advertise to the experts in attendance.
There is no charge for fans who wish to attend the music festival. The conference fee for those that wish to meet the industry professionals is $50 each for advance tickets and $75 each at the event, which takes place May 10 to 12.
