What's Happening in Orlando, FL…

Back-to-school events planned at Waterford Lakes Town Center

Waterford Lakes Town Center, which is an open-air shopping center, has announced a few back-to-school activities coming up soon.

The town center is in east Orlando near the 408 East-West Expressway, making it a convenient place to shop for residents and tourists.

The activities are brought to the town center by various sponsors who could use print shops to obtain flyer printing services to create colorful posters to advertise their sponsorship.

The first event runs from July 15 through August 2, and is called ‘Stuff the Bus’. During this time, the mall office will be accepting donations for school supplies. Those wishing to donate can find the mall office between Clair’s and Banana Republic. If four or more school supplies are donated, donators will receive two Chick-Fil-A ‘Be Our Guest’ cards, which are good for either a grilled chicken sandwich, spicy sandwich, or eight nuggets.

For the kids, the town center will host ‘Touch-A-Truck’ which will give kids an opportunity to climb on various big rigs that will be on site and have a photo taken with them sitting in the driver’s seat. The party will also have lots of activities for kids, including games and crafts.

This event is sponsored by Sprint, PPC Professional Services, Inc. and Advanced Disposal. Touch-A-Truck will be held on August 3 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Trucks will be parked near Marble Slab and the event is free for all attendees.
