Wok cooking class planned for Miami

This Mother’s Day, Miami families are invited to bring mom to participate in an afternoon event in homage to a certain cooking utensil.

Elanor Hoh will be facilitating the event, which will introduce those who take part to the wok and how it can be used as a cooking tool. She noted that they will also learn how to craft easy-to-make and quick dishes that are highly nutritious without sacrificing on flavour

The class will cover the five fundamentals of cooking with a wok, as well as how to craft a basic sauce and marinade that can easily be adapted to a wide assortment of dishes. Along with this, students will be taught how to make simple meals that do not require a recipe and use a few well-chosen and fresh ingredients. A printer’s marketing services department will be able to provide an assortment of materials that promote an event like this to the community.

Along with the cooking instruction, participants will have the option of purchasing a Wok Star Kit Bundle either ahead of time or once the class has been completed. Preregistration is advisable, and the ticket prices range from $68 to $88. Those with food allergies or special dietary restrictions are asked to let Hoh know this when they sign up to participate.

This Asian-themed cooking class has been scheduled for Saturday, May 13 in Boffi Studios Miami. Further details can be found on Eleanor Hoh’s website.
