This June, the South Florida Curry Festival will be held in Miami to offer the public a day jam-packed with flavorful curries, vibrant music, and global connection.
The South Florida Curry Festival made its debut last year, receiving an impressive response with the festival selling out and overflowing with excited attendees. Organizers expect that this year’s festival will turn up the heat even more, touting a bigger, bolder event than the inaugural one.
The festival is a love letter to all things related to spice and curry, with an emphasis on global cuisines and cultural exchange. The event will take place in the Wynwood Marketplace, an open-air market with vendors, food stalls, and areas for live music, all located in the heart of the bustling Wynwood neighborhood. There will be over 50 vendors serving authentic curries from around the world, a live curry cookoff, a pepper-eating contest, a spice market and bazaar, live cultural performances and music, and even a singles’ meetup.
