This November, the Miami Rum Renaissance Festival will take place in the Miami neighborhood of Coral Gables. It will give both connoisseurs and novices the chance to learn more about the spirit’s history, distilling methods, and contemporary flavors.
The festival is separated into two days of activities, with Friday’s programming featuring educational seminars and Saturday featuring the Grand Tasting, complete with unlimited samples from vendors and distributors. On Friday, there will be three seminars to attend: Building the Brand: RumChata – Tastes Like Money, Rebuilding the Brand: The Renaissance of Cockspur Rum, and Round 2: Diplomático Team Launches Ron Tepuy. In between these guided educational sessions will be food and refreshments.
Saturday will feature the Grand Tasting, which includes a tasting glass and unlimited samples from leading importers, producers, and boutique brands. The Grand Tasting will also offer the Private Collection event, which highlights luxury, limited edition, and collectible rums, with the option of purchasing whole bottles.
