Miami pizzeria to teach cooking skills

Harry’s Pizzeria in Miami Beach will host a hands-on pizza-making class in June as part of its monthly pizza class series.

Harry’s was founded by Chef Michael Schwart, who is the James Bearden Award-winning chef owner of the Genuine Hospitality Group and has been proclaimed the face of the South Florida restaurant scene. He has two Harry’s Pizzeria restaurants, one located in Coconut Beach and the other in Miami Beach. Harry’s Pizzeria prides itself on simple, wholesome food based on local fresh ingredients and specializes in curated pizza toppings and quick-fired crust. The restaurants also organize special events, such as the pizza class series.

The pizza-making class will provide an in-depth, intimate pizza-creating experience. When participants arrive, they will be treated to a welcome cocktail and an appetizer selection of escarole salad, meatballs, arancini, and polenta fries. Then the class will be guided step-by-step on how to make a pizza with their favorite toppings. Afterwards, attendees will be free to enjoy a glass of wine or beer as their pizza cooks.

Businesses offering special classes or events may advertise these activities using Flyers created using local flyer printing services.

The class is scheduled for June 28 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Harry’s Pizza in Miami Beach is located at 1680 Meridian Avenue. Tickets are $69 plus a 20% tip for serving staff.
