Miami has been listed as one of the 100 best cities set up a company.
Coming in at third place, it is likely Miami will draw many new businesses over the next few years. It is also one of three Florida cities to make the top 10.

The study was conducted by WalletHub, which is a personal finance website. Outside of Miami’s third place ranking, other top 10 cities that were named in this study are Orlando (1st) Oklahoma City (2nd), Austin (4th), Tampa (5th) Charlotte (6th), Durham (7th), Raleigh (8th), Atlanta (9th), and Denver (10th).
The rankings take many factors into consideration, including the city’s cost of living, the number of hours in an average work week, labor costs, and industry variety.
Within the United States, it is estimated that nearly 10% of those working have their own businesses. WalletHub estimates that the self-employed population in the United States reaches over 15 million and that there are many opportunities for introducing new products and services, enabling some businesses to obtain revenues in the millions of dollars.
