This July, Bleeding Blue, Inc., in Miami will present the 2024 Mental Health Conference for First Responders and Family to discuss trauma exposure and other critical mental health issues affecting law enforcement and first responders.
As a 501(c)(3) Florida non-profit organization, Bleeding Blue, Inc.’s, mission is to support law enforcement personnel and their families through fundraising efforts and providing critical resources, such as mental health support. The conference in July will highlight the mental health issues that individuals in this line of service experience and offer ways to work through such issues.
The conference will feature guest speaker Travis Howze, a motivational wellness educator, speaker, and. He teaches individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other related disorders about Post Traumatic Purpose, which delves into mental wellness, resiliency, and leadership potential. Other guest speakers include local law enforcement and first responders who will share their experiences in the field, as well as insights on how to address challenges faced by their peers.
