This December, Miami will play host When We Gather, a wine and food series that spotlighting black chefs and sommeliers.
Launching in six cities, the national dinner series will culminate in Miami in December. It will be hosted by Wade Cellars, a wine label founded by Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade in partnership with the Pahlmeyer family. It will be curated and led by Chef Richard Ingraham, personal chef to Dwyane and Gabrielle Wade, and George Walker III, sommelier and winery operations assistant at Wade Cellars.
Guests will enjoy a unique gourmet experience involving a diverse selection of cuisines and paired wines. The food served will consist of an appetizer of deviled eggs with yolk mousse and caviar, a first course of fried oysters with kale and tartar sauce, a second course of collard greens and pear salad, a third course of lobster with smoked cheddar grits and crab gravy, a fourth course of bison with parsnip potato puree, and a fifth course of red velvet crème brûlée.

The dinner is scheduled for Friday, December 2 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It will be held at Grown at Flamingo Point on 1504 Bay Road. Tickets range from $250 to $500.
