Miami concert to pay tribute to the USA

A Miami musical event will showcase the works of well-known composers who have captured America’s many vistas through their output.

Orchestra Miami and selected members of the Greater Miami Youth Symphony will be performing chosen works by Bacon, Grofe, Copland, and Dvorak. To accompany the music, an assortment of visuals will be shown and there will also be narration. Then goal is to help the audience discover how the composers interpreted the nation’s landscapes, from its mountains to the seashore, through music.

Elaine Rinaldi, who is Orchestra Miami’s Artistic Director, will be conducting the show, which has been planned as a family-friendly event. Juice and cookies will be served at the conclusion of the performance. Programs for an event like this, giving information about the composers, their works, and the inspiration behind them, can be provided by a printing company

The concert will be held at Pinecrest Gardens on January 6 starting at 8:00 pm. Tickets are priced at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $10 for kids. Lap seating for children under three will be free of charge. The is no fee to park at Pinecrest Gardens for those who will be attending the show.
