Miami arts outreach organization to host festival

The Beaux Arts of the Lowe Art Museum will host the 72nd Annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art in Miami this upcoming January.

Founded in 1952, the Beaux Arts is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization that supports the Lowe Art Museum of the University of Miami and encourages the appreciation of, and access to, the arts in South Florida. The organization offers children’s community outreach programs, assists with museum art acquisitions, and contributes to the museum's operations.

The two-day event will introduce the public to the works and artists of the region. Attendees will enjoy 200 juried artists working in a range of different media. There will be a kids’ art tent where local children will be displaying their own unique works of art. Patrons will also enjoy an artisan marketplace, food options, and live entertainment. Proceeds raised will go towards the community outreach programs that Beaux Arts supports.

Arts festivals are often decorated with colorful, festive Banners by both event organizers and festival vendors. Local Print shops can offer all kinds of banner printing services to help with such decorations.

The Beaux Arts festival is scheduled for January 14 and January 15, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will take place across from the Wastco Center at the University of Miami in Coral Gables. Admission is free.
