Miami area community to celebrate the best in local kitchens

This winter, homeowners in Coral Gables will be opening their doors to give the public from Miami and the surrounding communities a sneak peek into their kitchen as part of an event that will combine food, shopping and design inspiration.

This will be the 8th year for the Tour of Kitchens, which has been organized and presented by the Coral Gables Community Foundation. The public can stroll through the rooms that have been opened for viewing so they can be inspired by their design. There will also be a chance to sample food from area eateries, and vendors offering merchandise for sale.

The event will begin at 9:00 am, when those who plan on participating can receive their wristband from Snaidero Kitchen & Design, which is required to take the tour. They will also be given a booklet that provides more information about the homes they will be visiting, as well as a map of where each is located. After they receive their band and information, they will be able to enjoy breakfast, including mimosas, while they browse through the business’s showroom. At 10:00 am, they will be able to begin their kitchen tours. A booklet printing company will be able to supply the printed materials for a fundraiser like this.

Monies raised from the event will be contributed to the Culinary Arts Fund and the Coral Gables Community Foundation. It is scheduled for February 4 and will set off from Snaidero Kitchen & Design at 4110 Ponce De Leon Boulevard.
