Next month, Running Edge 305 along with Mino Learning Lab will host the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Run for Education to raise money for community educators and youth-serving organizations.
The Mino Learning Lab is comprised of community-based consultants who support and empower local nonprofits, schools, community organizations, and leaders working to better Miami’s underserved neighborhoods. In honor of Juneteenth, the Juneteenth Run for Education is intended to raise money for these local organizations that are trying to make a difference in Miami’s historically black neighborhoods.
The run will be a 5K beginning at The Freedom Lab and traversing Liberty City to the corner of 50th Street and Northwest 10th Avenue. The run aims to raise $10,000 for educators and nonprofits to receive professional development and access to high-quality educational resources. It will also highlight the importance of health and wellness educational programs for Miami’s most vulnerable populations. The afterparty will feature food, beverages, music, games, and a panel discussion.
Running events like this often feature courses that are decorated with colorful Banners. Organizers interested in such decorations may decide to seek out area banner printing services.
The Run for Education 5K is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 21 from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The staring location, The Freedom Lab, will be located at 4300 Northwest 12th Avenue.
