The New Belgium/J. Wakefield Brewing Collaboration has decided to combine the launching of its latest brew with a pub crawl to raise not only awareness of the new beer and the establishment that serves it, but also “Rise up Gallery”.
Combining a release party with a pub crawl, Grilled Pineapple Berlinerwisse will be presented to ticketed attendees at a series of Miami drinking establishments. Starting off at J. Wakefield Brewing, attendees will enjoy a meet and greet with Wakefield’s own Jonathan Wakefield and Cody Reif, the New Belgium brewer.
Following a toast with the Grilled Pineapple Berlinerweise, the group will move on to the next stop on its itinerary – The Butcher Shop. The party will find Grilled Pineapple Berlinerweise on tap here, along with other New Belgium and J. Wakefield selections. Thirst inducing snacks will be on hand, such as cheese, pretzels, and sausages.
From The Butcher Shop, the group will proceed to Wynwood Walls for a curated walk followed by a stop at the Wood Tavern to finish off the evening with a final brew of either the Grilled Pineapple or other New Belgium and J. Wakefield selection.
The launch/crawl takes place this Thursday, June 11, at 7:00 pm and costs $40. Proceeds will be donated to the Rise Up Gallery, a nonprofit Miami based organization that provides free art therapy workshops.
