Festival to get Miami thinking outside the box

In October, Miami will play host to the OZY Fest, a unique, collaborative festival combining food, music, comedy, and thoughtful discussions.

The OZY Fest was founded on the premise that curiosity about people, cultures, and ideas can bring about meaningful experiences and enrich lives. The festival provides a way for open-minded people to connect with other forward-thinking people in the arts, education, entertainment, and business. It has been lauded by major Miami publications like Timeout as “Ted Meets Coachella,” for its dedication to such a multi-disciplinary approach.

The festival will take place over two days at Maurice A. Ferré Park, a 21-acre urban park located in the downtown Miami and Brickell area. There will be stages set up for various musicians, comedians, and presenters to entertain and interact with the crowd. Local food and drink will also be available for attendees to enjoy at various booths and trucks. This year’s headliners have yet to be announced, but some examples of previous headliners are Dr. Anthony Fauci, Malcolm Gladwell, Tig Notaro, and Big Freedia.

The OZY Fest is scheduled for October 16 and 17. Tickets have yet to go on sale, but those interested can visit the festival’s website and add their email address to the waitlist. Using poster printing services to create colorful Posters can often be helpful in advertising for such festivals.
