The Zigong Lantern Group is returning to the city of Miami with another Chinese Lantern Festival, to end Chinese New Year on a clear night filled with bright, red lanterns.
The Chinese Lantern Festival is an ongoing tradition that originated from the Han Dynasty. The lanterns symbolize the idea of letting go of the past to celebrate hope for the future. In Ancient China, it was only Buddhist monks who put up lanterns in the temples, but now anyone overseas can admire these creative and intricate exhibits, as long as they visit Jungle Island to watch the Luminosa performance.
This organization is dedicated to sharing a slice of Chinese culture with foreign countries by showcasing their ability to design exotic lantern exhibitions, imitations of dinosaurs and mythical creatures, painted landscapes, and more.
The Zigong Lantern Group is prepared to impress more visitors this year, after claiming several awards during its last illumination exhibit at the Gilroy Gardens theme park. There will be over a million LED Lights hidden under silk backdrops, woven together by skilled Chinese artisans. Sponsors might use Print shops to add some artistic flair to their food and beverage stands at New Year’s festivals.
Visitors will have to buy tickets to watch the Luminosa’s featured shows. The Chinese Lantern Festival begins on December 30, , and lasts from 5:00 to 10:00 PM.
