Centner Academy opens private preschool in Miami

For those wishing to enter their children into private school, the Centner Academy in Miami has recently opened and is accepting children between the ages of two and a half up to six years old. The school will expand the ages and class offerings in the coming years.

The academy focuses on global education, which enables the children to participate in a progressive curriculum, along with the opportunity to learn Mandarin and Spanish languages. Teaching will be done through the accelerated academic instruction, research-based curriculum, and culturally educational field trips.

The school is located in the Miami Design District and was custom-built using colorful décor and environmentally friendly materials. The exterior of the building is also colorful and the academy’s Logo Design is on the front of the building, as well as on the awnings of the top floor windows.

Owners David and Leila Centner created the school using the positive aspects and concepts they saw when researching educational options for their children. Although they have many goals for the students attending the school, they intend to focus on the emotional health of children by enhancing their creativity and curiosity.

Currently, the school will accommodate up to 18 children through kindergarten age and each year the school will add another grade level to eventually reach 12th grade.

The academy is located at 4136 North Miami Avenue. The campus includes a 16,000 square foot building along with an outdoor play area that covers 3,000 square feet.
