The annual event, "Splash! of Watercolor," organized by the Brevard Watercolor Society (BWS), is set to occur this February in Melbourne.
BWS was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organization. It is sponsored partly by a county board, along with the Brevard Cultural Alliance. With a membership of nearly 200 individuals, BWS and its members aim to enhance the community's well-being by promoting watercolor painting through workshops, exhibitions, and education. The society is dedicated to fostering an appreciation for watercolor art, and actively engages in activities to achieve this goal.
This art show will showcase a sale and exhibit of watercolor artworks. The event will display the works of close to 100 community artists, including many with state and nationally acclaimed creations.
Framed original paintings will be up for purchase in the venue’s main hall, while the Artists’ Marketplace will offer unframed originals, cards, and prints for sale. Additional activities include an auction, raffles, and a painting activity, during which attendees will work on the paintings of each other, all of which will be put up for sale.
Parking and admission for attendees is free. For additional information, individuals can contact Laurie Griffin via email at lbgriffi@att.net.
Business card printing can be a great way for artists to provide additional information about themselves at events such as this one.
The art show will run from February 17 to 18 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm each day. The venue for this event will be located at 1591 West Eau Gallie Boulevard, Melbourne, Florida.
