Melbourne hosts high-tech trade show

A local nonprofit is holding a networking and educational event to support Melbourne’s scientific professionals engaged in electronics manufacturing.

The Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) has announced the Space Coast Expo and Tech Forum 2025, scheduled for mid-November in Melbourne. The event gives industry executives and engineers a chance to catch up on the latest developments in printed circuit board manufacturing, technical presentations, and manufacturing sourcing opportunities.

The show is a key industry event, expected to draw several hundred attendees from across the southeastern United States. Some of the exhibitors include Fuji America Corporation, Specialty Coating Systems, Panasonic, and Blue Thunder Technologies.

The SMTA is an industry non-profit organization for engineers and manufacturing professionals. Its focus is on education through conferences and published research, member engagement, and providing career resources to support the electronics industry. Today, the organization boasts over 50 local chapters worldwide and has a wide focus on all aspects of electronics manufacturing technologies.

The Expo is scheduled for November 13, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It will be held in the Melbourne Auditorium, located at 625 East Hibiscus Boulevard. There is no cost to attend the expo, but advance registration is required and can be accomplished through the SMTA website. Lunch will be provided at no cost to attendees. Business cards and poster printing are often useful at trade shows like this.
