Melbourne residents can find out who has the best wings in town when the 6th Annual Space Coast Wing Battle comes to a local park in mid-August.
This popular annual event includes unlimited wing samplings, with domestic beers on tap as well. Each visitor will have an opportunity to cast their vote for the People's Choice Award, and an overall champion will be determined by a panel of qualified judges.
However, food is not the only attraction, as attendees can participate in axe throwing, lawn games, and yard pong. Live music will be available all evening. This could be a chance for participants to pick up Business Cards from their favorite vendors and restaurants.
The 6th Annual Space Coast Wing Battle will be held Saturday, August 16 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Wickham Park, located at 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne. General admission tickets are $48, and VIP tickets are $78. VIP ticket holders are allowed early admission at 6:00 PM.
Tickets can be purchased at SpaceCoastWingBattle.com. Attendees should be aware that this is a rain-or-shine event, and no refunds will be allowed for ticket purchases. Since alcohol will be served, this event is strictly for those 21 and over. A portion of the net proceeds from this event will benefit the Children's Hunger Project, a local non-profit.
