Florida is well known for its festivals, and Melbourne residents have a chance to enjoy unique art creations in its own outdoor festival coming in late February.
Melbourne Main Street has announced The Downtown Melbourne Arts and Crafts Festival for the third weekend of February. Festival visitors can expect to see an array of craft types, from large outdoor crafts to jewelry, décor, and fine art pieces. The event highlights a curated collection of artistic work from around Florida and beyond. Additionally, the festival is set within the town’s historic district, with access to local retail offerings and multiple choices for dining. Business Cards and poster printing are often helpful at public events.
The festival is organized by American Craft Endeavors (ACE). Howard Alan, its founder, has spent over four decades promoting the works of over 10,000 artists around the world. Together with his wife, Patricia, Alan runs about 45 juried art shows and 40 craft shows annually from their office in Jupiter, FL.
The Downtown Melbourne Arts and Crafts Festival will be held February 21-22. It will be centered at 836 East New Haven Avenue, although the display route spans from Livingston Street to the railroad tracks. Daily hours for the event are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free for everyone. Artists wishing to become exhibitors may apply through the sponsor’s website.
