Nordstrom Rack, the reduced-price division of Nordstrom, Inc., has opened a new outlet at 2291 Town Center Avenue. The new store within The Avenue Viera center features highly discounted items from such well-known brands as Sephora, Lululemon, and Lilly Pulitzer. The chain offers such brands at hefty discounts of up to 70% off and is sure to become a favorite for many. The store boasts 24,000 square feet of space, replacing the former Bed Bath & Beyond retail outlet. Print shops can produce flyer printing to communicate opening dates to the public. Nordstrom Rack began operations in 1973 as a discount destination for the same brands as its parent company, Nordstrom.
Jeffrey Law, general manager of The Avenue Viera, recently expressed his pleasure at seeing the new offering for residents:
"The arrival of this renowned brand continues our dedication to offering a diverse and premium shopping experience for the Space Coast community and beyond."
John W. Nordstrom, a Swedish immigrant, began his American journey working in mines during the 1890s gold rush years. He settled in Seattle and opened his first store, Wallin & Nordstrom, with a partner. John retired from the store in 1928, and Nordstrom’s sons assumed company leadership. The chain’s discount approach made it popular, and the company went public in 1971. Nordstrom currently has nearly 400 locations in 43 U.S. states and territories.
