Lutz paint event to benefit breast cancer awareness

Journi for Two will hold the Painting in Our PJ’s for a Purpose: Pink Christmas Edition in Lutz next month to offer a creative way for moms and daughters to get together, enjoy brunch, and support breast cancer awareness.

Journi for Two was founded by Alicia Henry when she was diagnosed with cancer while pregnant with her daughter Journi. The nonprofit’s mission is to ensure that women do not travel the difficult journey alone, providing women undergoing cancer treatment with emotional, financial, and wellness support. Journi for Two aims not only to provide practical support, but also wellness and beauty services to help women feel more like themselves and events that build sisterhood.

The Painting in Our PJ’s is one such event aimed at bringing women together and uplifting moms. The event will invite attendees to come dressed in their coziest pajamas to paint and enjoy a full brunch with hot and cold drinks. Tickets will include a full painting kit, brunch, live entertainment, and non-radiation Bexa breast exams.

People may hear about such events when perusing Brochures that event organizers prepare using local brochure printing services and then distribute at community health centers, doctor’s offices, or even gyms.

The Painting in Our PJ’s is slated for December 7 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The painting party will take place at 2155 Northpointe Parkway, Lutz.
