Watermelon Swim will open its pumpkin patches this October in Lutz and various South Tampa locations, as well as host a fall festival celebrating the coming autumn season.
Watermelon Swim is an indoor swimming facility with five locations in the Tampa Bay area. The facilities teach year-round swimming and water safety lessons for all ages. During the fall months, Watermelon Swim also holds community pumpkin patches at all five of its locations, including the Lutz facility. At these patches, visitors can purchase pumpkins throughout the month of October, with a portion of the proceeds going to fund scholarships in its Children with Disabilities Program.
Towards the end of October, the South Tampa and Lutz locations will hold a fall festival, which is free to the public. There will be trunk-or-treating, games, prizes, fall photo ops, bounce houses, local food, and pumpkin painting, plus many more family-friendly activities to enjoy.
Local Print shops may get an influx of business when organizers hosting seasonal festivals need affordable banner printing services to create decorations necessary for their events.
The 2025 Watermelon Swim Annual Fall Festival is slated for Saturday, October 18 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the pumpkin patches open the whole month of October from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The Lutz pumpkin patch is located at 19509 Dale Mabry Highway.
