This May, Painted Leaf Studio in Lutz will hold the Fun Friday Mother's Day Makers event for local children to have the opportunity to craft something special for their mothers for Mother’s Day.
Painted Leaf Studio is a Lutz/Tampa-based kids art studio that offers afterschool classes, homeschool programs, interactive workshops, art birthday parties, and special events, such as the Mother’s Day class. The studio takes a unique approach to art, emphasizing it as an experience and meshing process-based exploration with open-ended play under the gentle guidance of instructors.
The Fun Friday Mother's Day Makers will be a drop-off workshop session in which parents will drop off their children for the duration of the class and pick them up after it has ended. The class is designed for children aged 6 to 10. During the workshop, children will craft handmade art pieces using floral designs with the intent to gift them to their mothers or mother-figures.
Art classes tailored to children may rely on visual instructional materials in the form of large, colorful Posters, which organizers can get printed at various local Print shops that specialize in poster printing services.
The Mother’s Day Makers event is slated for May 8, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Painted Leaf Studio is located at 15929 North Florida Avenue, Lutz. Tickets are $48 per child.
