The Pinellas Genealogy Society will be partnering with the Largo Public Library to present a program titled “How Research Plans Can Up Your Genealogy Game” this weekend.
This program will be held at the Largo Public Library on Central Park Drive in Meeting Room/Jenkins B. This is a hybrid meeting so people can also attend the event via Zoom.
Led by Annette Burke Lyttle, the educational talk will cover the steps and techniques of planning research that can save frustration and time, as research is more productive and effective if a plan is made before conducting the research. There will also be a walking tour of the Genealogy Center which is on the second floor of the Largo Public Library. Lori Coffey will be conducting the tour after the conclusion of the program.
Poster printing can be useful for promoting such special talks and opportunities throughout the community.
The Pinellas Genealogy Society was established in 1972 and is a non-profit organization dedicated to the furtherance of genealogical education and research and preservation of genealogical material.
This event will be held this Saturday, June 17 beginning at 11:00 am. As this is taking place at the same time as the general membership meeting held once a month, the first 15 minutes will include the meeting of the Society.
