The 18th annual ‘Spring Obsession’ festival returns this year to a new venue.
Lakeland’s Lake Crago Park will host this charitable event in support of the Lakeland Police Department.
Organized by The Lakeland Rotary Club, in cooperation with the city of Lakeland’s Parks and Recreation Dept, proceeds from this year’s festival will help equip police cruisers with Automatic Equilibrium Defibrillators. Officers require these devices when responding to medical emergencies.
The 2021 festival will feature more than 60 flower and plant merchants, outdoor décor, and artwork vendors. Food, a barbecue, live musical entertainment, and prize raffles are also included. Featured guest speakers will be:
- ‘How to Grow Camellias Successfully’ by the Camellia Society
- Master Gardener, Leslie Montwid from the Garden Club of Lakeland
Vendors and sponsors are needed for this event. Benefits include the opportunity to market a related product or service to thousands of engaged consumers. Organizers may use poster and brochure printing as a means of promoting the sponsors of such festivals. Raffle donations are tax deductible and would be appreciated. Lake Crago Park was chosen as the festival’s new home, thanks to its natural lake and wilderness. The complex also features an amphitheater, a boat dock for canoeing and kayaking, and an event rental space.
This year’s ‘Spring Obsession’ will be on Saturday, March 13 from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Lake Crago Park, located at 525 Lake Crago Drive in Lakeland.
