The City of Lakeland will organize a community event in July at the Frances Langford Promenade.
Red, White & KABOOM! is a family-friendly annual event where people can enjoy a live concert and fireworks display by Lake Mirror. There will be several food vendors participating in this year’s celebration, including Pipo’s Latin Food, Chief’s Food Truck, and Big Hot Box. People can also buy desserts from vendors like Glazed Up Mini Donuts and The Pudding Queen. Live entertainment for the festival will be provided by the alternative rock band Bully For You.
There will be some rules that guests have to follow during the Independence Day festival. Attendees will not be allowed to bring their own fireworks, sparklers, or grills to the event. Guests can bring outside food and beverages to the event venue, including alcoholic drinks. The organizers will not allow tents to be set up at the venue, though attendees may bring their own umbrellas in case it rains. Pets on leashes are permitted.
The Lakeland Independence Day celebration will be held on Friday, July 3. The live performance by Bully For You will go from 6:00 pm to 9:15 pm, and the fireworks start at 9:00 pm. Cities that hold community experiences like this may use flyer printing services to place ads in public venues like recreation centers and libraries.
