Lakeland business community gathers for networking event
Core Network Groups has announced CORE Lakeland, a morning networking event for Lakeland business professionals.
The one-hour event is most relevant to those within Polk County. The event is designed to help local entrepreneurs and business leaders develop high-quality contacts and referrals, build relationships, and gain expertise in problem-solving.
The meeting agenda includes an opportunity for attendees to share their 30-second pitch, followed by a 10-minute educational presentation and discussion session. A Featured Member presentation will then allow all to become more familiar with the presenter’s business in more detail. The meeting will end with time allowed to celebrate successes, share opportunities, and request connections with others.
Lacy Gardner and Stephanie Hoskins founded CORE Network Groups in 2022. The duo created a model to address the lack of networking opportunities in the state’s fastest-growing city. Currently, it boasts 81 members, and has helped generate over $2.5M in business revenue to date.
CORE Lakeland will be held on Tuesday, December 30 from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. The meeting will be held at The King’s Church, located at 730 South Florida Avenue in Lakeland. There is no cost for visitors to attend, but the organizers request registration through their Facebook page.
