One of the largest long-running aerospace expos in the United States is returning to Lakeland in April, in a weekend expected to bring over 200,000 visitors to the area.
The 52nd Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo is an annual event drawing pilots, exhibitors, and other aerospace businesses to the area for workshops, networking, and product marketing. The event is also open to the general public. It will feature daily airshows, with a special night airshow from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the 15th. Performers scheduled to appear include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, an F-22 Raptor demo team, a C-17 demo team, GhostWriter Airshows, and Franklin’s Flying Circus. Graphic design products like banner printing help promote businesses at expos.
Ticket prices vary. Attendees may purchase tickets for a single day or for the entire five days. Tickets for RV or tent camping are available as well, with paid options for aircraft camping also for sale. Those interested in attending are encouraged to visit the official website for the entire list of admission offerings, as well as the event’s rules.
The expo will be from April 14 through 19 at Lakeland Linder International Airport. The official hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day, although the event is open until 10:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15 and Saturday, April 18.
