Aspiring musicians and songwriters in Lakeland will want to keep space in the schedule for next month, as a trio of expert songwriters is offering a learning experience in town.
The Songwriting Bootcamp, hosted by Randy Maynor, Jordan Burks, and Jon Gautier, will begin soon, providing aspiring musicians and recording artists with a chance to learn from some of the music industry’s best. The camp will teach attendees the framework necessary to write a good song while providing critiques from professionals.
Attendees can expect an immersive learning experience and one-on-one instruction from highly acclaimed and accomplished songwriters. Gautier is a Grammy-winning producer, while Maynor and Burks have multiple number-one hits and chart toppers between them. The instructors will guide participants through engaging group songwriting sessions to help each student harness their skills and creativity. The completed songs will be pitched to Brent Baxter, famous for his work with Lady A, Lonestar, Randy Travis, and Alan Jackson. Guests can use the opportunity to elevate their skills and add to their music industry networks.
The bootcamp will be held on Saturday, March 1st, at 113 Florida Ave. South, beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 4:00 PM. Spots are limited, and tickets cost $50 online.
