Ornament swap brings Lakeland residents together for holidays

The holidays are in full swing in Lakeland, and an event is in the works to bring residents together to celebrate and swap their favorite ornaments.

The Sparkle and Swap: A Festive Brunch and Ornament Exchange has an official start date for next month, and holiday lovers will want to save the date on the calendar. The brunch is being planned by The Bond Maker, a club focused on providing new experiences and helping attendees build new and lasting friendships.

The brunch will be held in a garden-like setting, offering a serene way to indulge in the holidays. Attendees can anticipate a joy-filled atmosphere and opportunities to make new friends and connections. Business card printing is an effective way to swap contact information with other attendees at such gatherings.

The menu will feature food options and seasonal dishes produced using locally sourced ingredients. Registered guests are asked to bring a special holiday ornament from home to swap with other attendees. The purpose is to add a personal touch to the event. Spots are limited, and interested parties are asked to make their reservations in advance and bring their holiday cheer.

The Garden Bistro will host the gathering on Sunday, December 8, with the doors opening at 11:30 AM and ending at 1:00 PM. Tickets are for sale online, starting at $16 per person.
