A health certification class is to be held in Lakeland at the end of August.
The course will feature two sessions, one for Basic Life Support (BLS), and another for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillators (CPR-AED). This can provide them with the essential skills to conduct basic life support actions in cases of emergency.
The event is open to the public, and specifically targets medical professionals and frontline workers such as nurses, dental students, hygienists, respiratory therapists, caretakers, lifeguards, teachers, caretakers, fitness instructors, and parents. The course will give guests a hands-on experience of delivering basic care.
The event is conducted by In-Pulse CPR, which specializes in providing certification for basic first aid procedures to members of the public. The company currently operates in three states – Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Florida – they provide quality classroom sessions with interactive presentations that can give attendees the opportunity to practice the skills learnt. They offer sessions for the public, as well as private groups.
The cost for registration to this event will be $65. Those wishing to attend may complete the registration process on the event's website.
