Live game show to be held in Lakeland

Lakeland’s competitive residents can take on the challenge of a popular game show in late March.

The show is the Price is Right! Live. It will not be recorded for television but will be presented as an on-stage show. The gameshow gives participants the chance to win prizes, including appliances, vacations, or a car. Participants are chosen at random from the audience. Individuals that would like to be a part of the audience will need to make a ticket purchase.

The Price is Right originally aired on television in 1972. Now a fan favourite, the show captivates audiences across America with its trademark humor and unique games. The games include Pay the Rent, Flip-Flop, and Balance Game.

Ticket prices for this event range from $29 to $40, with prices varying by seating. Patrons should be advised that a higher-value ticket purchase does not increase their chances of being selected as a contestant. Those wishing to participate will need to go to the registration area of the box office three hours before the show starts. Those who do not wish to participate will still need to purchase a ticket.
