Lakeland to offer vegan event

A vegan food festival will be held by a local restaurant this April.

The name of this event is ‘Lakeland Veg Fest’, and is ideal for those who are already following a vegan diet and are looking for exciting food offerings, or those who are new to or considering a plant-based.

This is also the perfect opportunity for those who are looking to explore the variety available in a meet- and dairy-free diet. There will be numerous creative combinations of foods available. The menu includes items such as stuffed churros, yuca sandwiches and crepes, and Brazilian cheese bread. Refreshments will also be available.

The Veg Fest has been a highly anticipated event since its debut last year. Its aim was to bring the best local and international plant-based vendors and professionals to Central Florida. Following up the success of last year’s event, this year will have all the elements typical of the festival, such as food samples and music, live demonstrations, and fun activities for the entire family, including pets.

Admission to the event is free, and everyone is welcome. The organizers, Brazilian Fun Foods, will implement measures for managing Covid-19 during the event. Banner printing is a great way for local companies to get exposure at events such as these.

The festival will be held at The Juice Box, which is located at 4295 S Florida Ave, Lakeland, Florida 33813. It begins on April 16 at 11:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm.
