Lakeland to host early independence celebration

The city of Lakeland, Florida will host a pre-Independence Day firework show this July.

The occasion is titled “Red, White and Kaboom”. It hopes to give patrons an enjoyable experience suitable for the entire family, with music, drinks, and food for sale from trucks at the venue. Attendees can look forward to an evening of captivating fireworks at the end. Guests are free to bring blankets and other amenities along to the event.

The show will also support local charitable organizations with its proceeds. One such non-profit is Volunteers in Service to the Elderly, which offers assistance to the elderly by helping them to live safely and independently on their own. It assists them with services such as transportation, groceries, hot meals, and more. VISTE operates primarily through the assistance of local volunteers and donations.

Though the event is free for everyone to enter, organizers are asking those in attendance to bring at least one item for donation. For this event, non-perishable food items are preferable. All proceeds will go to the VISTE organization.

Banner printing can be a great way for vendors to attract customers at events like these.

This event will be held along the Langford Frances Promenade at Lake Mirror. The lake is located at 121 South Lake Ave, Lakeland, Florida 33801. It begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm on Sunday, July 3.
