This month, Andrea and Tim Bosko will open Bosko's Clubhouse Grill at Cleveland Heights Golf Course in Lakeland.
The couple signed the lease for a 10,000 square foot space on September 23. The venue had a spacious bar, large dining room and dance area, flat screen televisions, private dining areas, and outdoor dining overlooking the golf course. Many restaurants have located themselves there. The last was Frescos Whiskey Green. It closed before its first year in business. At the same time, the city was altering its funding for the course, which it owns. It was classified under enterprise operations but is now part of the Parks and Recreation Department.
Mr. Bosko grew up in the restaurant business as his family owns a group of restaurants and franchises in the area. Director of city parks Bob Donahay believes the couple will be successful in the venue because they have knowledge of golf and business. He expressed glee in the franchise moving in since the Bosko family is known for their restaurants and they play golf. They are working with executive chef David Dunn who worked at a prestigious golf club in the past. He has three decades of experience all over the United States. Bosko said Dunn is creating a menu that everyone will be able to enjoy.
