An Underground Music Festival will be held in Lakeland next month, featuring independent singers, rappers, and alternative musicians from throughout the country.
The one-day music festival will feature live performances by independent pop artists, rhythm and blues artists, hip-hop performers, reggae musicians, rappers, and alternative artists. A featured performance of She’s Got Phatty will be delivered by Orlando-based hip-hop artist, Work Da Undaground’s Favorite MC. The event will also include carnival games and gaming trucks, food trucks, street performers (including magicians and dancers), vendors, and a photo booth. Music will be provided in-between live performances by local DJs.
Each musician will be allotted 10 minutes to perform on stage. All performers are required to stock a merchandise table with a minimum of three items to be sold exclusively at this festival. Suggested products include Posters, T-Shirts, hats, and Drinkware. A minimum of 36 pieces of each item is required. Professional printing services are often used to create personalized merchandise, frequently for sale at events like this.
The event has been designed as a way of promoting the talent, hard work, and dedication of independent artists towards local music lovers. The media has been invited to the festival, and each artist will be interviewed in advance of the event, as well as after their live performance.
The Underground Music Festival will be held on Saturday, August 7 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, at the Maddox Ranch, located at 2505 West Bella Vista Street in Lakeland. Tickets are available on the Eventbrite website for $30 for general admission, or $40 for an all-access ticket.
