Boating and fishing seminar in Lakeland

The RP Funding center will host the Lakeland Boat Show in early July.

The Captain Joe Fishing School will host interactive lessons on fishing throughout the weekend and will provide supplies for each lesson. Each day, one captain will teach two or three classes consecutively while offering demonstrations on casting nets correctly. At the end of the day, various captains will demonstrate tying knots and rigging live or artificial bait.

Captain Jeremy Heimes will present workshops on Friday about fishing with live bait, using the most effective equipment for specific fishing conditions. On Saturday, Captain Bobby Woodard will host three classes on efficient artificial lures, using them to catch trout and redfish, and discussing how to use live bait. On Sunday, Captain Mike Rabon will give lessons on equipment for inshore fishing and flat fishing strategies. Jennifer Hebert will perform the net casting demonstrations on Sunday.

Vendors will have clothing and fishing accessories for sale. Those interested in setting up an exhibit can contact Jim Scilligo at 727-894-3644 or email jim.scilligo@outsourcemediagroup.com. Promotional Pens are one inexpensive way to promote a boating and fishing business.
