The Lakeland Pro Rodeo Classic is taking place next month over two days.
Presented by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), the event attracts both male and female riders from all over the country. It is one of the competitions that helps riders to qualify for the National Rodeo Finals, which will be held in Las Vegas later in the year. It is the largest event of its type in Polk County.
The rodeo will feature competitions in eight traditional events. These include bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, and barrel racing.
For those who wish to see the event tickets are available for two shows: Friday night at 7:30 PM and Saturday afternoon at 2:30 PM. Ticket prices vary; Silver horseshoe tickets are $25 each and gold buckle seats are $45. Two children between the ages of 2 and 10 are admitted for free, with each adult ticket or $7 each.
No doubt this event will attract rodeo fans to Lakeland from all over Polk County. To help spread the word, organizers may have invested in the brochure printing services of a local Stationery printer.
