The American Heart Association will host a health walk this November, in the form of the 2022 Polk County Heart Walk.
Residents can come out with family and friends as they walk to support a good cause. The AHA is a national health organization that offers support to fields of medical research concerned with heart illnesses and diseases. These include steps for cutting-edge treatment equipment, prevention, as well as recovery methods. This event gives average American families an opportunity to support the cause by donating, and encouraging those around them to do the same.
The event features a one-mile and three-mile course. Participants may walk at the venue, or use a location of their choosing and comfort. There will be photographers on-site, so guests may commemorate the day. Attendees will also have the option of walking at a location of their choice.
Participants for the event should register through the website. There is no fee for the process, but those registering may set up their fundraising initiatives, and use the online tools available to assist with doing so. There is no minimum donation amount.
Banner printing can offer unique ways to celebrate impactful individuals at events such as this one.
The walk takes place on Saturday, November 5 at the Publix Field of the Joker Merchant Stadium. This is located at 2301 Lakeland Hills Boulevard, Lakeland. Check-in begins at 8:00 am, while the walk starts at 9:00 am.
