Summertime in the City 2023, a celebration of hip-hop through music, art, and culture, will be returning to Jacksonville toward the end of July.
The event will be free, and family friendly. DJs will be providing the music and local emcees will be introducing contestants and acts like Graffiti and BBoys. The 2x2 BBoy Hip-Hop All Styles Battle will have dancers from around the Jacksonville area competing for cash prizes.
Sponsor packages range from $250 to £1,000 and all include the company’s Logo Design on all event Posters and Flyers, and post on the Summertime in the City website. Other perks will include vendor space at the event for selling merchandise and distributing Promotional Products such as promotional Pens, visors, cups and drink cozies, VIP passes, and a mention on social media.
The BBoy 2x2 Battle Official Sponsor at the $1,000 level will also include the logo design on the Official event T-Shirts, separate flyers, and company name as the title to the BBoy Battle Stage. This sponsor will also be donating a cash prize for the competition winner, and compensation for the judges, DJs, and host. Vendors may also buy space for $75.
Summertime in the City 2023 will take place Saturday, July 29 from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm at James Weldon Johnson Park, 135 W. Monroe Street.
