January is coming soon, and that means it is about time for the 74th Annual Jacksonville Boat Show.
The event will showcase skiing, cruising, and fishing boats, as well as other personal watercraft. A few exhibitors will be Advance Marine, Amelia Island Marina, Carefree Boat Sales and Club, Lake Shore Marine Dry Storage, and North Florida Yacht Sales. Some non-marine exhibitors will be All American Gutter Protection, Bath Fitters, Big Boys Play Toys, LeafFilter, and O’Feet Insoles. Guests at events such as this often ask exhibitors for their Business Cards.
This year the event will welcome Florida Insider Fishing Report’s Brie Gabrielle and Capt. Rick Murphy as guest speakers.
Rick and Brie will present a seminar, ”Casting Mechanics/ Fighting a Fish,” beginning at noon on the Saturday. At 2:00 pm, Brie will discuss how to throw a cast net and Rick will tell attendees how to dissect a water column at 4:00 pm.
On the Sunday, the pair will again present these seminars at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm.
Adult tickets will be $15, while senior tickets will be $12 and tickets for kids under 12 will be $5.
The Jacksonville Boat Show will be at Prime Osborn Convention Center, 1000 Water Street from Friday, January 29 to Sunday, January 31, commencing at 11:00 am on the Friday.
