An annual celebration of fashion, community, small business, and local music will take place at the Duval Spring Fest 2024, coming at the end of March.
The festival’s kick-off party will be from 9:00 pm to midnight at Tipsy's, 243 Edgewood Avenue S.
A vendor happy hour will begin Friday at 7:00 pm at the Justice Pub, 315 W Bay Street. At 8:00 pm to midnight, a Model and Designer Fashion Show will then take place, featuring Team Twerk and Team Trap vying for bragging rights. The event will also feature a cash bar, food vendors, and music provided by DJ Kool Aid.
Saturday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Soutel Grass Lot, 5065 Soutel Drive, the festival will have its Mic Madness Artist Showcase Tournament IV & Community Block Party. Open to the public, the showcase will feature a contest of local talent vying for the top prize – a 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards Weekend Performance and free Atlanta Hotel stay. The Block Party will be family-friendly, with bounce houses, food trucks, DJs Big Ben and SoulJalife, and Rep. Angie Nixon as a guest speaker.
