Jacksonville’s Veterans United Brewing will hold its annual Red White and Brew 5k and one-mile runs in early July.
The 5k will be three times around a 1-mile course. Registration is $25 until June 10, $30 until June 27, $35 until 6:00 am July 1, and $40 from 6:00 am to 9:00 am July 1. The race will begin at 7:30 am. The Beer Run 1 Miler will also begin at 7:30 am.
Registration will cost $25, and registration will end on July 1st at 10:00 am. The course will be on the same one-mile track as the 5k. Participants may opt to use professionally chip timing for either race.
Race swag will include bib numbers, race shirts from previous races sporting graphic designs from former runs, and water beer or wine at the finish line. Yet more swag will include Florida Race Day beer koozies and cooler Bags, finisher medals shaped as Red White and Brew Mason Jars, free downloadable finish photos, chances for winning door prizes, and an after party.
Awards will go to the fastest three-mile female and male finishers in six age divisions, and to the fastest and slowest four-person teams. Packet pickup will be at the race venue between 6:30 am and 7:15 am.
The event will take place Saturday, July 1 at Veterans United Craft Brewery, 8999 Western Way #104.
