Many Jacksonville runners will turn out for the 2nd Annual Kettle Krush 5K coming in a couple of weeks. Proceeds from the race will go to The Salvation Army.
The race will begin with staggered waves, each of 150 runners. Walkers are also invited to enter the later waves. The course will be along the Emerald Trail through downtown Jacksonville.
Preregistration is $35 and event day registration will be $40. Swag includes T-Shirts sporting the event Logo Design, and finisher medals.
Runners and walkers are encouraged to wear Christmas in July finery. The awards ceremony and family-friendly festivities will await the participants at the finish line.
Three levels of sponsorships are available. All come with the business Logo Design on race shirts and on event emails. They all also get recognized on the event’s social media platform. The Bronze level ($500) will include two runner registrations, the Silver ($1,000) three and the Gold ($2,000) includes five runner registrations. The Gold sponsors will also receive booth spaces.
Businesses that have booths at events such as this often bring Promotional Products, Business Cards, and discount coupons to distribute to race participants.
The 5K will take place July 24 starting at 7:30 am and begin and end at Lift Ev-ry Voice and Sing Park, 120 Lee Street. The 5K will start at noon.
