Jacksonville rock orchestra holds summer concerts

The Jacksonville Rock Orchestra will be holding a Summer Concert Series here in Jacksonville beginning in early June.

This 27-piece symphony orchestra combines traditional drums, keyboards, guitar, bass and vocals into a rock band that plays music as Classic Rock symphonic arrangements.

The Music of Led Zeppelin will begin the series on June 4th. Iconic Led Zeppelin, which only had 8 albums during its 10-year reign, had hits such as Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir and Whole Lotta Love.

They will be followed by Landslide, a Fleetwood Mack tribute band, on July 11th. The audience will be treated to golden oldies like Go Your Own Way and You Make Loving Fun.

Faithfully will play music from Journey on August 8th. Journey fans can reminisce with the likes of Don't Stop Believing and Open Arms.

Individual tickets will be at regular prices. Tickets purchased early for all three shows will cost $249 for Level 1, $148.50 for Level 2, $129 for Level 3 and $99 for Level 4.
